March 8 is International Women’s Day, a day dedicated to the celebration of women and female identifying-peoples’ achievements. It is a day when Nunavummiut take time to recognize the invaluable role of women and the continuing need for equality.

Qulliit encourages everyone to celebrate the resilience, power, and successes of the women in their families and communities. International Women’s Day celebrates women’s achievements in all areas of our society.
